Customised skin peels

What are skin peels?

Skin peels at Complete Skin Specialists

Skin peels can help you achieve younger, smoother looking skin.

Here at Complete Skin Specialists we offer a number of different skin peels to help strengthen the skin. They can be performed alone or in conjunction with more invasive treatments to boost and maintain long term results. Our highly trained skin professionals will be able to assess your skin and tailor your treatment according to your individual concerns.

How do skin peels work?

Enzymes are applied to the skin which gently exfoliate the damaged top layer, this in turn will improve the skin’s colour, tone and texture by stimulating the growth of new skin cells.

What is a customised skin peel?

A proven system of ultra mild, in clinic skin treatments that use a range of enzymes to target sun damage, pigmentation, acne, dehydration and the overall appearance of the skin.

What are the benefits of having a skin peel?

As we age our skins cellular turnover slows down, this means we have an accumulation of dead skin cells that causes the skin to look dull. By using peels we are removing the dead skin cells, this stimulates your cells to produce collagen strengthening the outer layer of skin and unblocking pores. This improves skin texture, softness, superficial blemishes and uneven skin tone.

What types of skin peels do the Complete Skin Specialists offer?

We offer a range of peels that include Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Pyruvic Acid and Vitamin A.

How do I know which skin peel is for me?

Your skin therapist will conduct a thorough consultation to ascertain what your specific skin concerns are then tailor the actives and strengths according to what your skin needs. The benefits of the enzymes we use are that they can be layered on the skin to maximise their effectiveness and address more than one skin concern at the same time.

How frequently should I have a skin peel?

Skin peels can be performed anywhere from 2-4 weeks apart for the first 6 treatments, then maintenance peels can be performed every few months or as needed.

How long does it take to see results from a skin peel?

You can expect your skin to look and feel amazing directly after your first peel. We do recommend a course of 6 skin peels for best results.
