About

One integrated practice

Complete Skin Specialists offers a unique experience: dermatological care delivered by trusted professionals, addressing both your medical and cosmetic needs.
That’s vital because the boundary between medical and cosmetic skin health is rarely clear-cut.

A patient managing acne with a dermatologist may benefit from ongoing dermal therapy to address post-inflammatory pigmentation. Someone attending a cosmetic appointment to remove an annoying mole may discover that they actually need to see a qualified doctor about skin cancer.

Complete Skin Specialists offers all these disciplines in one practice ecosystem, meaning your care pathway can adapt as your needs change, without the friction of starting again at a different clinic.

A complete and long-term approach to skin health

Many patients come to us with a single concern – persistent acne, a suspicious spot, or a skin condition that hasn’t responded to over-the-counter treatments.

But skin health is complex, influenced by many different medical and lifestyle factors, and may require ongoing, integrated care.

Here’s an example of how we might support a teenager with painful acne that’s affecting their mental health, across different areas of our practice:

Dermatologist-led care

  • Medical assessment & consideration of psychosocial impact.
  • Comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plan, which may include topical or oral medications, and referral to our dermal therapy team.
  • Monitoring the skin’s response to treatment and adjusting where necessary.

Dermal therapy team

  • Receives the treatment plan from the dermatologist.
  • Provides non-invasive therapies such as extractions, chemical peels, or light-based treatments to address concerns such as redness or scarring.
  • Discusses appropriate skin care to support treatment plan.
  • Reports back to the dermatologist.

Plastic & reconstructive surgery

Dr Kim Hughes is a highly skilled plastic surgeon who provides aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries from Building 1, including:

  • Skin cancer removal
  • Breast reconstruction after breast cancer treatment
  • Restoring form or function after trauma or injury
  • Earlobe repair & reconstruction surgery.
