Dr Kim Hughes

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr. Kim Hughes is a Specialist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2010 and undertook surgical training in Melbourne, earning a Postgraduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy in 2014 and her Fellowship in 2022.

In 2023, Kim completed advanced fellowship training in microsurgery, lymphatic surgery, and breast surgery at Imperial College Healthcare in London and in Switzerland. She has published widely in international journals and presented at national and global conferences.

Kim holds public appointments at the Austin and Northern Hospitals and operates privately at St. Vincent’s East Melbourne, Epworth, and Warringal. She offers a comprehensive range of procedures with a particular focus on breast reconstruction, aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, skin cancer, and minor hand surgery.
