More about Intense Pulse Light Therapy

IPL therapy is a non-invasive, versatile treatment, making it a great choice for maintaining healthy skin, even during the summer months. It’s ideal for treating conditions such as mild redness, pigmentation, and early signs of ageing.

Results from IPL are not immediate, as your skin takes time to respond to the light energy. Over the next few weeks, you may notice a gradual improvement – pigmentation may begin to fade, blemishes may reduce, and your skin tone may look more even.

IPL works by emitting broad-spectrum light that targets various skin pigments. This can address concerns such as redness, sun damage, and age spots. The treatment can improve your complexion without the long recovery times associated with more invasive procedures, allowing you to continue enjoying summer activities.

Regarding side-effects, you may experience some discomfort, bruising or a sensation akin to mild sunburn. You can resume normal activities immediately but we advise you to limit your sun exposure in the weeks before and after treatment. Strict sun protection is essential before and after this treatment to protect your skin and optimise the results.

A consultation is required to determine the most appropriate treatment plan tailored to your skin needs.
